      THE PANAGYURISHTE TREASURE

   The Panagyurishte Thracian Treasure from the collection of the Plovdiv Regional Archeological Museum will be shown in Veliko Tarnovo in the "Hadji Nikoli Inn" from 21-st March until the end of October 2012.

      Exhibition "BULGARIAN MASTERS OF ART"

   The mobile exhibition "BULGARIAN MASTERS OF ART" is from the collection of the National Art Gallery and will stay in Veliko Tarnovo in the "Hadji Nikoli Inn" from 01-st February until 20-th March. The exhibition consists of unique masterpieces of the best Bulgarian artists, after 1878 to the end of the Second World War.

   We welcome you at the evening concert of Nikolai Ivanov - OM, on the 30-th Sept., 7 p. m. in the courtyard of the Hadji Nikoli Inn.

      For the first time in Veliko Turnovo: Exhibition "POSTERS of HRISTO JAVACHEFF - CHRISTO & JEANNE-CLAUDE"

   On 19-th August, for the first time in Veliko Turnovo, in the Art Gallery of the Hadji Nikoli Inn opens an exhibition "Posters of Hristo Javacheff - CHRISTO and Jeanne-Claude". In the exhibition will be included 19 posters, personally signed by the genius of his projects: "Pont Neuf", "Surrounded Islands", "The Umbrellas", "Valley Curtain", "Wrapped Reichstag" and others; films, photos and information ablout the life of the great artist and his muse. The exhibition is with the kind contribution of his brothers Stefan Javachev and Anani Javachev.

      For the first time in Veliko Turnovo: Exhibition "THRACIAN TREASURES - ROGOZEN, MOGILANSKA MOUND and BOROVO"

   On 18-th March 2011, for the first time in Veliko Turnovo, in the exhibition halls of the Hadji Nikoli Inn opens an exhibition of "Thracian Treasures - Rogozen, Mogilanska Mound and Borovo". The exhibition is with the participation of the Regional Historical Museum of Vratza and the Regional Historical Museum of Ruse.

  The “Hadji Nikoli Inn” won the Special Award of the Jury of the “Building of the Year 2010” National Contest for an investment in preserving the cultural heritage of Bulgaria and the Award of the Audience!

   Building of the Year National Contest is organized by Gradat Media Group under the patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and is supported by various real estate organizations. The purpose of the contest is to select the best Bulgarian architectural, construction, town-planning and investment practices within a one-year period.

   The official award-giving ceremony and the gala dinner summoned leading local development and investment companies. This year, the event was held on December 16 at Kempinski Hotel Zografski, Sofia.

The purpose of the contest is to select the best Bulgarian architectural, construction, town-planning and investment practices within a one-year period.

   The official award-giving ceremony and the gala dinner summon leading local development and investment companies. This year, the event will be held on December 16 at Kempinski Hotel Zografski, Sofia and will be broadcasted on the Bulgarian National Television channel as well as the satellite channel BNT SAT.

   Since its launch in 2002, Building of the Year National Contest has presented over 600 buildings, developed during the past eight years in Bulgaria. All of these buildings have come to present the local trends in architecture and construction and are notable for their original, quality concepts and innovative decisions.

   The buildings completed in the past year are divided in several categories - holiday and residential properties, retail, industrial, production buildings, entertainment and sports units, buildings of special functions. This year, the organizers of the contest have launched another category - "green buildings". It has the task to present the best role models for energy-efficient and sustainable construction in Bulgaria.

   The winners are appointed by a jury of Bulgarian and international professionals who work in the fields of architecture, investments, town-planning, consultant services and business. On the basis of clearly defined criteria, every single member of the jury votes for the best project. The final results from the voting and the winners are known several days prior to the official ceremony.

   The contest is also famous for the Building of the Audience initiative. Every person is able to vote for their favourite building for a period of two weeks - from December 1 to December 15, 2010 on the contest's site. The building that has collected the greatest number of votes will be nominated on the day of the official ceremony.

   Winners will be officially announced and awards given at the very ceremony in front of architects, investors, developers, representatives of state administration, various real estate and business organizations.

   In 2005, another initiative was launched - "The eternal buildings of Bulgaria". The aim of this initiative is to support, restore and preserve cultural monuments and important historical sites. One of the winners in this category is the medieval Christian temple called Boyanskata tsarkva of "St. Nikola and St. Pantaleymon" in Sofia, which is also present on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Through this initiative construction companies, financial organizations and private persons have raised over 200,000 Bulgarian leva for the reconstruction of the building and restoration of frescoes.
